How is your armor fitting? Have situations surfaced where you have found your armor useful in the battles of life? Can I just say that this has been God’s perfect timing for me to begin wearing the armor of Christ. Situations have arisen where I have had to be in defensive mode against Satan and without the armor I would be so badly bruised and beaten, feeling defeated.  Praise God, He has been faithful to be by my side during the battle and we have been victorious!

So you have your Belt of Truth all fastened into place and the Breastplate of Righteousness firmly strapped on. Today we will add the  The Shoes (of Peace & Preparation): “For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.” Ephesians 6:15 – Shoes allow us to step freely and without fear while we turn our full attention to the battle at hand. They aid in our movement and defense. The shoes God gives propel us onward to proclaim the true peace, which is available in Christ. Prepare yourself to follow the Lord no matter what.

I love The Message translation of Ephesians 6:13-14…Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own.  Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting, you’ll still be on your feet.

Get those shoes on and walk in victory and not fear for God is with you. Amen and to God Be the Glory!
