A new day has dawned, and whether we consciously realize it or not this day will be filled with decisions.  This was brought home to me yesterday when my daughter called home for a listening ear about a job decision she has to make. This is an example of a big decision.  Not every day do we face decisions like that. However, there are smaller decisions we make all day every day. These don’t seem as life changing or important, but perhaps they hold more weight than we realize.

God has a plan for each of us today.  If we do not have the mind of Christ and have Him guide our steps we could miss a blessing He has along the way, a life He has for us to touch.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5).

Before you dive hastily into just surviving another day, stop and ask God for wisdom in making the many decisions, big and small that you will be faced with. It may make all the difference in your family dynamics, your job, a friendship, a soul in despair. God is on constant call to lead you in the way that will bring you peace, and who doesn’t want peace and more peace! Live your day intentionally with Him instead of walking out the door on auto pilot! To God Alone Be the Glory!
