Happy New Year! Just as surely as there are those anticipating a 2016 of joy and blessing, there are those who are lacking hope for another year. Perhaps events of 2015 have left you less than excited and a bit pessimistic about the hope and future God promises you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 28:11)

God never breaks a promise.  Look past the bad for the blessings He holds in store for you. Make a special effort to praise him for all the things you daily take for granted. And on your very worst of days, try to imagine what eternity in Heaven will be like when we see our Father face to face. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.

Step into the light of grace and tell your heart to beat again! Here’s to a new heart and a new beginning! To God Alone Be the glory!
