As an addendum to Monday’s post, I want to share this scripture the Lord placed before me that speaks very directly to the subject. I love the way The Message translation of The Bible translates this scripture.

“But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God.  The night is about over, dawn is about to break.  Be up and awake to what God is doing! God is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed.  (Romans 13:11-13)

God bless you as you walk with Him today.  Keep your eyes and ears open to God-ordained moments along your path. Trust that through His grace He will equip you for whatever encounter has been preordained for your day. Do not be afraid. “For I am the LORD your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.’  (Isaiah 41;13)

Now go out today and remember…WE WERE MADE TO THRIVE!
